Upcoming Edmonton Stand Up Comedy Shows

In Scott’s first year as a comic he was a finalist in Alberta’s Search for Funniest New Comic and has since showcased for Just for Laughs five times and performed in six different countries. He has headlined comedy clubs from coast-to-coast and can be heard on XM radio.

After an incredibly successful East Coast tour, Lisa Baker and Fiona O'Brien have paired up again and this time, they're heading to Edmonton!

These two comedians have done it all, including Just for Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC's The Debaters, Halifax Comedy Festival, and they both can be heard regularly on SiriusXM's comedy channels. They have headlined comedy clubs across the country, selling out shows from Dildo, NL to Yellowknife, NT, and everywhere in between. Now they're tired, uncensored, and running away from the kids to drink green beer and make you laugh - you don't want to miss this!

Daniel Betts' comedy style pulls from his true-life experience as a U.S. Navy veteran, father, and comedy club owner. Daniel offers a unique blend of real life, gripping and hysterical storytelling, to shorter, punchier jokes with observational humor, and blindsiding misdirects. His mastery of comedy lies in his ability to read any room and give the crowd exactly what they want.

Having found his true calling, Daniel took to comedy like a fish to water, winning his first-ever comedy competition after just one year of performing. Not long after, he made his Comedy Store debut, and by year two, he was on tour in Afghanistan performing for our forward-deployed troops. Taking his love of comedy to the next level, Daniel jumped headfirst into opening his own comedy club in 2022, called The Well Comedy Club, making it the first and only full-time comedy club in California's Central Valley.

From performing with killers in comedy such as Andrew Santino, Steve Trevino, Joey Diaz, Pablo Francisco, the Wayans brothers, and more, he has performed all over the state of California and even tours nationally, from coast to coast, with some of his closest friends. Daniel is quickly beginning to make a name for himself as one of the funniest and hardest-working comedians in the game today. You can see him on season one of the hit Amazon Prime show Beast Games, starring YouTube megastar MrBeast.

Brittany Lyseng is a nationally touring stand-up comedian, writer, and podcaster. Her comedy career began after spending 12 years as a tradesman, driven by a desire to lift less and laugh more, and she has since become one of the fastest-rising stars in the Canadian comedy scene. She has appeared on CTV’s Roast Battles Canada, CBC’s New Wave of Stand-Up Comedy, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, and CTV’s The Stand-Up Show with Jon Dore, as well as making guest appearances on CBC Radio’s The Debaters. Released in 2019, her debut album Going Up reached #1 on iTunes and was followed by performances at three Just For Laughs festivals (Montreal, JFL 42 in Toronto, and Vancouver’s JFL Northwest). Most recently, she was featured in Reader’s Digest magazine and received a nomination at the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards.

The Horrible Show is a collection of severely disturbed but hilarious comedians. This is a XXX rated show, not for the faint of heart! If you’re the sensitive type, probably you should sit this one out. Maybe just stay home and make sure everybody stays off your lawn. If on the other hand you like to laugh and have fun, join us! Bryan O'Gorman is a professional weirdo who has headlined comedy shows in dozens of countries including England, Australia, Germany, Singapore, Switzerland, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic and the USA to name nine. This year he plans on playing in every country on earth, plus the moon (if the spaceship he's building works).This past January, Bryan's second album opened at number one on iTunes comedy charts and remained there for several hours. A live performer since childhood, this joke of a man honed his stand up skills in the legendary Toronto comedy scene and has refined them on stages throughout the galaxy. Catch him now before he dies in a feeble attempt to make it to the moon in a homemade rocket. Kyle is an international headlining comedian and a staple in Canadian comedy. He is the star of TV shows such as AHC’s Blood and Fury, Discovery Channel’s Fear Thy Neighbour, Discovery Channel’s Motive and Murders, and MTV’s Losing It. His debut comedy album Damaged Goods is now streaming on Sirius XM radio. He has 43k followers on Instagram with millions of views online.

Kyle has played notable venues such as Massey hall and CAA Theatre in Canada, Hot Water Comedy Club in England and Latter in Norway. He is a headliner in 6 counties and is signed to Canada’s largest talent agency for stand-up comedy, Yuk Yuks & Funny Business INC. He has been nominated for the I Heart Jokes Awards twice. He recently recorded a taping for Russell Peters’ LMFAO Platform and his debut comedy special, “Damaged Goods” is now streaming on Sirius XM.

Kyle’s comedy has also landed him massive media interviews on networks such as Dr. Drew Show and CTV. Emily Woods is known for silly confessional storytelling, crowd work and hosting. She’s not afraid of being dirty and honest; always leaving the audience feeling empowered and excited!

Emily is featured on the 2022 Just For Laughs Originals album, is a regular host at Hecklers Comedy Club in Victoria and headlines comedy clubs across Canada. She was featured in the 2025 JFL Vancouver festival and is recording for CBC’s Laugh out Loud this year. Her debut album and special, “Deep in The Woods” is set to release this spring.
